The Don

I thought today I would take some time an introduce everyone to the little guy who is the subject of my new lenses when I get them, new lighting techniques, etc. He even has a little mention on my website, so I thought I would share him with my readers. He is the funniest little guy I have ever met and loves to give kisses. I think he's even starting to pose (uh-oh)!

Courtney is an award winning photographer from Louisville, Kentucky. She was given her first camera at the age of 14 when her father first handed her his Canon SLR (this was back in the manual days!). Courtney attended Atherton High School and would often walk down Bardstown Road or go to Cave Hill for inspiration.
Courtney is very at home behind the camera and her woman's eye for detail helps her to capture everything about the special day.
Courtney is a member of professional organizations such as Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). Courtney gives back to the community as the area coordinator for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Infant Bereavement Photography. Courtney has received such awards as the Good Samaritan Award from Norton Healthcare for her work with NILMDTS. Her work is also being featured in the Capture Kentuckiana book published by the Courier Journal. She was also selected one of the best photographers of 2008 by the PhotoLaureates.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys traveling with her boyfriend, playing soccer, listening to music, reading, and learning about science. She also has a small dog who is the subject of many of her photographs.
