Parent Albums and DVDs

Today I got really bored since I can't drive yet (boo) and set up my new lighting (yay) and took some pics of the sample parent album I made just a few weeks ago. It is so cute and would make a perfect thank you for parents after the wedding. It's just small enough (5x5) to fit neatly into a purse, yet it's just as cool as the bride & groom album. The pages on this one are varnish finished as well, to keep the pages from getting fingerprints all over. Each album also comes in it's own little protective plastic case.

I also bought some hot new DVDs, for the clients who buy digital negatives. I am a big fan of baroque designs, but see what you think.

New Lighting

I got an Alien Bee today and am sooooo excited about it. Jon watched as I, in a bit of frenzy, set up the alien bee and hooked it up to my camera. It was like Christmas! I then took the first photo of the two of us with my new lighting. I am in LOVE! I am planning on using this as well as the ringlight for my Photobooth package for weddings.

Courtney is an award winning photographer from Louisville, Kentucky. She was given her first camera at the age of 14 when her father first handed her his Canon SLR (this was back in the manual days!). Courtney attended Atherton High School and would often walk down Bardstown Road or go to Cave Hill for inspiration.

Courtney gives back to the community as the area coordinator for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Infant Bereavement Photography. Courtney has received such awards as the Good Samaritan Award from Norton Healthcare for her work with NILMDTS. Her work is also being featured in the Capture Kentuckiana book published by the Courier Journal. She was also selected one of the best photographers of 2008 by the PhotoLaureates.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys traveling with her boyfriend, playing soccer, listening to music, reading, and learning about science. She also has a small dog who is the subject of many of her photographs.
